General Scholarships for PDK at UNL
In November you should be receiving paper applications to use as you select the two applicants selected by your chapter for consideration. The applications and supporting information for students you select should be sent to International by March 1st.
While there are no changes in the process for chapters to send nominees to the International scholarship committee, PDK will no longer accept “at-large” applications for scholarships/fellowships. Direct applicants must now have some connection to PDK.
Students who wish to apply directly will be eligible for consideration for PDK scholarships/fellowships if they meet any of the following qualifications:
- Is a Kappan in good standing
- Is a “Kappan Kid” whose parent or grandparent is a Kappan in good standing
- Is a member of a PDK sponsored FEA chapter
- Has at least one recommendation letter written by a Kappan in good standing.
