Phi Delta Kappa activity, Tuesday, June 5th, 5:00-6:00, social, wine-tasting, and light meal; 6:00-7:30, recognition, awards, interactive discussion on educational practices.

We will introduce the 2012 Joekel Scholarship winner ($1,500.00) who was chosen from a strong pool of applicants and you will learn about the recipient’s latest educational work.

Join us at a Social and Interactive Sessions with several NE State Teachers of the Year (Bob Feurer - North Bend, Maddie Fennell - Omaha Public Schools, Mary Schlieder - Norris Public Schools, and Michael Fryda - Westside Public Schools) ranging from elementary to secondary in various content areas, and State Administrators of the Year (tentative), Wed. Oct. 26, at the new, Towers Reception Center (69th an A, Clocktower Center). You will learn why these educators are successful, gain “take-aways” that you can immediately use and foster ties with an extended learning community.

The cost is $13.00 for: tenderloin sliders, teriyaki chicken sticks, brueschetta bread with sun-roasted tomatoes and basil; and vegetables with cheese, crackers and dip. A cash bar will also be available.
